Ephesians 4:26 In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.
Commentary:
Paul does not say it is wrong to be angry. In fact, it specifically says “in your anger.” Our instruction is to be on guard that our anger does not turn to sin. The advice seems to indicate that anger carried onto the next day opens the door to Satan’s deceptions.
