One of my most popular downloads on Lostpine.com is about understanding and teaching the Declaration of Independence. As we enter our 250th anniversary year for this historic document, you may find of interest a book I have just published. It is now available on Barnes & Noble at this link: https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/27-grievances-explained-robert-j-samson/1148200394?ean=9798218774523
The book is entitled “27 Grievances Explained” by Robert J Samson
27 Grievances Explained unveils how the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution are masterfully intertwined—each document anchoring America’s enduring pursuit of liberty. This compelling new book demonstrates how the founders boldly risked everything to secure freedom and how their vision endures in a meticulously designed Constitution that serves as a safeguard against tyranny. With insightful commentary, it illuminates the timeless principles at the core of the nation’s founding and offers a vital blueprint for understanding and teaching the foundations of American democracy.
The content has been refreshed from the website, and the book includes additional information, such as the original text of the Declaration and the author’s notes on the signers.

For about a year now, Lostpine has been using a feature that generates a hyperlink whenever a Bible reference is noted in written text. The reference becomes an alternate text color and is underlined. By clicking on the reference, a pop-up window will open and allow for the immediate reading of the referenced verses. The translation used is the New International Version, known as NIV.

Many parents today are wondering if there is value in raising children as part of a church community. This download looks at an article called “15 Reasons Why Raising Your Child with Religion Just Makes Sense“, and expands the list of reasons to include benefits that children would receive by being part of a church community.
We have had a problem with our contact form system. It is changed now. If you have tried to contact us, we apologize for our lack of response. This is a temporary fix.
One Nation Under God are the latest set of resources that can be used for teaching children history. It is a combination of biblical principles based on Scripture, stories from our American Revolution and from Florida’s history. There are ideas for field trips and experiences to make the lessons more interesting. The resources themselves represent a useful template that can be applied to educating youth in God’s world around them. We call this new area “One Nation Under God.”
Activities have been steady for years. Here are the last couple of events in photos added to the galleries. Fort Foster and St Augustine in the new location, the Colonial Quarter museum.
